A Special Day called as Birthday !!

Jai Gurudev !!

Happy Birthday to you ….
Happy Long Life to you !!

Once in a year ,without fail comes our birthday
To remind us that we are growing older day by day !!

As a kid , we love that special day of ours
As it also brings us gifts and chocolates that savours !

How do I look ..Gorgeous ?!

The dress we put on was so new !!
And the chocolates we distribute were not few !!

That's the day we'll be highly pampered
And from everywhere , the love will be showered !!

As years pass by ,
Slowly the birthdays get to give a feel of any other day !!
No more cakes...No more Chocolates..
Hardly any new dresses ...Rarely any gifts !!

Though the fact is so, each birthday
Innately makes us to feel in a special way !!

Some spark just 'd flash in our thought
That indeed we are one among the lot !!

Each one of us is not only a human
But ,a wave arising out of the ocean ...

And as the wave subsides back to the ocean
So do we - return back to our origin !!

Oh ! I am only a wave out of an ocean
How can I ever forget this fantastic notion !

Oh ! My life is so short ,
That I prefer to make it sweet !

Am I not a wonderful Flower ?
A Pretty and Fragrant Tower ?!

Does not the Birthday Celebration deep within
Bring a meaning to our existence therein !!

Will not our whole-hearted wish to our near and dear
serve a purpose - an opportunity that might help them know their real nature !!

A wave in the ocean or a Flower in the Garden ?
The one who opens up to wish others for a birthday
can be assured of joy that can be no less than double ,
on seeing the bloom in the face of the other person !!

Love & smiles...
