Rama Vs Krishna !!

What's the difference between Rama and Krishna ?

One can say , both are just different forms of the same God . But , if we dwelve deep into their lives and their mission thereon , more truths would start revealing in front of us !!

Rama taught the disciplines of Life !!

Krishna marks Total and unconditional Love !!

 

 Rama's life says , " How God performs His duties ? " by taking a human form !!
Whereas Krishna , being in the form of  Lord , soaked other people in Love and made them to perform their duties !!

In other words, Rama indicates, " As God , what I do ?"
Krishna says, " You, as humans do the same as what I do ? "

Infact Mahabharatha came next to Ramayana , ie, Krishnavataar came next to Ramavatar . Why ?
Because, till Ramavatar , God was the sole doer of heroic acts!! This brought all the people to His Feet !!
Whereas in Krishnavatar , Krishna made Arjuna to perform the Heroic act . He was behind Arjuna !!

Indirectly Krishna's motive was to show that "Man can perform the Heroic acts equally to Him , provided the man is equipped with the Courage to perform along  with the unconditional Love !!

How he gets the courage ?
By doing "Nama Japa!!" that is "Repeated chanting of Lord's names !!" . Infact this is a  meditation. This was shown in Ramavataar , by Hanuman !!

Unconditional Love can be practised by the man , if  he leaves the "Mamakara" or the "Mine " feeling  minus the Ego attached to it !!
This was shown in Krishnavatar , by Arjuna .

 Arjuna was couragoeus and also practised unconditional Love without any Ego feeling , whereas Duryodana has the Ego feeling leading to his downfall !!

Rama showed what role does Faith plays in our life , by instilling Devotion and Faith in Hanuman !! Hanuman was always chanting the Ram Naam and believed, "Ram Naam" is more powerful than Rama Himself for Ram Nama fetches Ram automatically.

Krishna marked the significance of Guru in one's life !! With Guru's blessings and guidance , one can reach the ultimate goal of life !!

But , why then Mahabharatha came later than Ramayana ?
Because, With the courage and Faith in God ( as in Ramavataar ) , the man moves on to the next level of existence ,  that is, with  Guru's Guidance or Blessings ,   he gets  unconditional Love devoid of  Ego   ( as seen in Krishnavataar ), which leads to  "Faith in Oneself "  !!

Following Krishnavatar, comes Kaliyuga, which calls the need for the above characteristics .This is mandatory for a man to remain unshaken , in the midst of n number of turbulences he has to encounter in Kaliyuga, which is inevitable !!

Which is the best blessing one can get ?

When you pray to God, generally you ask something . You know , which is the best blessing one can get ?

That's none other than " COURAGE " !!

Because , the world is for the Courageous people !!
And definitely not for the cowards !! Because we see , the people who hang themselves are cowards , unable to have courage to face the world.
Courageous are the ones , who see the success in all walks of life !!
Courage or boldness is required both in material and spiritual world alike !!
In Bhagawat Gita, when Lord Krishna showed his full form ie Vishwaroopa Darshanam to Arjuna, Arjuna could not see Him and said , "Krishna, please get back to the normal human form , for I fear to see you in magnanimous form  !!"
That means , even to see the divinity ( both in oneself and others ), you need courage !!

And one more thing is that ,
Courageousness is associated with Divinity and
Cowardliness is accompanied by all forms of negative characters like greed, jealous , lust , anger etc..

You need courage to accept a mistake.
You need courage to learn from the mistake too !!

You can achieve anything with courage ...
and you cannot take one step , if you are a coward !!

How do you differentiate a Courageous person from a coward ?
Though he can be recognized, the basic difference is , there lives inside the courageous person - the Divine power !!
And God stays with the man of courage and definitely  not with a coward !!

So now what do you ask for ?

Just thinking what if I can start sharing some of the supreme Knowledge that I had come across on a daily basis . Hope it captivates you as it had me !!

Whenever we do a job , there are two ways which we view at ...


1 . We ( along with others) do the job.


2. I do the Job !!


There's a lot of difference between the above 2 perspectives !!


In first perspective , when we think , "we" do the job , then "I" takes the dependancy on others .
In the second perspective , " I" do the job, then there's "Total Responsibility " associated with the "I" factor. That "I" sees that the job is completed at any cost , come what may !!


And another view point is ,
in "WE " , "God or the Divine power " is not included .
whereas in "I" , you get the total or the required  strength from the Divine power to accomplish the job.


So, "WE" = devoid of Divine power  + Dependancy on others !!


"I" is Divine strength + Total Responsibility !!


Now you decide , how do you take up a job now ?
As "We" or" I " ?!

A Festival of Bevu Bella ...

Today I happened to go to the Sai Baba temple nearby , where I was blessed to listen to wonderful talks of  Baba on the special occasion of Ugadi .

One thing what He said was ,
"Ugadi marks the beginning of New Year and this special day, people follow the practise of having the mixture of Neem and Jaggery. This indirectly indicates us , we ought to take the pains and pleasures in life with the equanimous state of mind .


There is also another meaning to this ,
Jaggery or the sweetness is what we get , if we take the pains of others and work to relieve them of their pains . And the sweetness or the joy gets multifolded , if we share our joy with others .


Neem or the bitterness is what we get , if we keep thinking of our own pains and try to relieve that only. And our sorrow gets even more , if we do not share our joy ,whatever we have with others. "


Secondly He said,

 " Fron this New year onwards , stop comparing yourself with others.
Do you compare yourself with a dog ?
No !!
Because you know very well Dog is a lower being than you.
But why then you compare with other human beings and spoil your mind.
Instead you compare yourself with Me ( God) !! "


By comparing ourself with God , we attain a Higher state of being !!

Peace mission to Pakistan

Jai Gurudev !!

A Mahasatsang at Lahore, Pakistan in the presence of Guruji ,"Sri Sri Ravishankarji " is going to happen today at Lahore , Pakistan. I'm quite excited about it . As always there will be some tussles between the neighbouring countries , this time for a change , events to bring a rapport between the people of the countries  is happening, which has to be welcomed with two hands .

I remember , Guruji has once said, the condition in Pakistan has become so worse that no one would like to visit the country for a vacation or a trip and people in Pakistan are more frustrated due to the terrorism and violence. Infact he had invited volunteers to take up the job of carrying Sudarshan Kriya to Pakistan to bring about a positive change there .

And now that has already started happening thanks to Guruji's Grace and efforts , the bright ray of hope and peace has started emanating from a terror hit country.

We can see a wave of devotion , love and light all through .
Guruji addresses millions of devotees every other day at various parts of the world , allowing His blessings to flow through as many number of people as possible.

A Dream come true ....

Jai Gurudev !!

Just a couple of days back, I came across a new experience .
Just next to our office premises is located, one super speciality hospital by name , "Columbia Asia Hospital ".


That was yet again a busy afternoon office hours post lunch . An intermittent  alarm just caught our attention , making us to think , "Is it a mock drill session conducted by our ISO personnel to face any fire emergency situation ?"
But the alarm kept on repeating with regular intervals. Soon the news spread that a fire broke out in Columbia Asia Hospital . "Oh ! MyGod !" ...A Fire in the hospital would invite for more complications with many patients especially ICU patients, who will be in a critical stge of immobility. I just prayed ," Please save the people from this situation!"  and ran out to see what's happening .

Could see many people standing outside the hospital and the patients are being carried out in stretchers and wheel chairs and even in sofa sets too. Patients were immediately moved in ambulances to other hospitals .We could see lots of ambulances plying with the emergency alarm on. People were seen stressed .The hospital employees were seen in full action , conducting emergency meeting and helping out the people , bringing the situation under control.

A Just born baby , whose eyes are yet to be opened was being carried by its father to the car , to be taken to an another hospital , the mother still unconscious after her delivery . It was a disturbing sight , a stressful situation, but nicely handled by the authorities .Soon the fire engine came and put down the fire in the basement , which caught by the short circuit in the electrical wires . The hospital being centralised AC, the smoke had spread throughout the building via the AC duct pipes. Without any casualities , the saga ended .The hospital was shut down for a day or two and started fucntioning normally after that.

And the interesting part which I keep wondering is , the picture of the streamline of ambulances rushing somewhere  had struck  my dreams ,a few days before this incident and that I shared the same with my colleagues too. Is it what they call as intuition ?!
Does it re-iterate the fact that , each and every happening in this world is all pre-planned to its utmost accuracy ?!

Bye Bye 2011....Welcome 2012 !!

Every soul is quite exuberant in welcoming the New Year  !! People just wait to celebrate in the best possible way they can . Attending to parties, Masses, Prayers , celebrating to their heart's content with their dear and near ones !!

Thought there are widespread fears about the Nature's fury or the End of the World sorts fear , there is a lots of hope and confidence in the hearts of people about the new year prospects.

Maywe  gain some more Inner Power with the help of some simple , yet powerful ancient techniques like Meditation , Yoga , Breathing practises etc. so that we remain unshakeable from inside !!

Let the everlasting Smile be on everyone's face come what may !!
